HOME

Here are the photos I promised. I pinch myself each morning that I wake up in this oasis. I count each day I get to live here a gift because I am just sure that nothing this great can last. Certainly the earth will soon be opening up and swallowing us whole.

The great room viewed from the upper level
The great unmantled fireplace

Beautiful home. I'm glad that you are enjoying it.

fancy smancy. Ansel gets his own bathroom?! What a lucky little boy. But then that means that some day he'll never experience the joy of sharing a bathroom with teenage sisters. Are you sure you want to rob him of that?

It looks so peaceful, especially with all the beautiful trees out your windows. Of course you live there, you are a peaceful soul...

It's stunning! I absolutely love it! I'm fighting all sorts of wishing/hoping/mourning feelings about your little spot of heaven, knowing that patch of ground will never be ours again, but am so, so, so happy for you and your family. I'm going to come visit this summer and want a personal tour!

Congratulations and enjoy that gorgeous view!

That looks like it will be a lot of fun to decorate! Do you have enough guest rooms for all of us?
