New Year Adventure Day 15.....

I completed my self-dare.   Those of you who have skied in the Eastern Washington, North Idaho,  or Montana Region, already know that anything goes in the fashion department.  You can ski in your jeans, overalls, coveralls, monk robes, hunting gear, etc.   I didn't stand out as much as I would have if I had been in....say.....Utah.   I did find that my hat was not functional for the actual skiing and wore it for my avant-ski and après-ski attire.   And Savanna, expiring from the 50 degree heat, needed my lighter fluorescent orange jacket.   I still got quite a few comments and laughs.   These were a few that I heard:
1.  "I wish my son was wearing that so that I could find him."
2.  A bunch of teenaged girls, "Oh, I want those pink pants!  I want those pink pants!"
3.  "Wow.  Those are the PINKEST snowpants I have ever seen."
4.  "I like your hat"   (It reminded me of Go! Dog Go!)

5.  And the boys in the one piece Carhartt overalls and camo gear actually laughed at ME.   Ummm.  I wittingly and bravely retorted with, "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?  People in Camouflage houses should not throw stones at people in pink houses."  OK.  I didn't actually say it, but I thought it.

Fun Spring Skiing Day in the Middle of January.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. You look great. I love the Carhart guy. That should be your next look.

I'd have to say that the pink pants make you look even more enthusiastic about skiing and life in general.
I triple dog dare you to wear those in Utah sometime. That would make an excellent blog post, too.
